Art and design are a part of my spirit. I am continually inspired by everything around me and once an image is in my mind I have to transfer that into the physical. I do not have a set style or technique preference but I do strive to create something that is visually stimulating and evokes an emotional response from the audience.
For me, art educates, dictates, liberates and decorates. It is not about the rules and is not about the final product. It is about the process, the challenge and the exhiliaration of creating.
I hope that one day my body of work will show the evolution of my spirit.
About the Artwork
I work primarily in acrylic on stretched canvas. I find inspiration from books, magazines, photos and from daily experiences and emotions. Recently, I have been experimenting with metal wire and various other materials in conjunction with the stretched canvas paintings. I also enjoy the challenge of designing custom pieces for clients that reflect their personal style and space.
